About the property
Paul Brown is proud to present this wonderful home.
Hear the waves, smell the air, leave the car at home, no need to scramble for that beach café carpark. This large family home in ‘Old Burns’ one of Perth’s original beach holiday destinations is walking distance to the café, beach and bus. The biggest decision you’ll make is whether you want to walk on the beach North to Mindarie Marina for brunch or perhaps South along the limestone cliff tops towards Ocean Reef with its views from Rottnest and around to the lights of Fremantle Harbour.
Privately tucked away, one house back from the beach park your resort lifestyle awaits, with the upside down design providing ocean views from the main living/dining/lounge as well the kitchen. The large rear north west facing balcony is wind protected via bi-folds to the south west. The balcony has outside stairs, also with ocean views, which lead directly down to the lower entertaining area and resort swim spa facilities.
Within a short drive to the Mitchell Freeway at Burns Beach Road if your off to Perth, a leisurely drive down the Coastal Sunset Tourist drive if you want to explore or regular bus services to Joondalup train station and shopping centre if you prefer public transport, all your work and lifestyle options are catered for in one location.

Burns Beach is located 34 kilometres (21 miles) north of Perth and was originally owned by the Midland Railway Company. In 1908, following a request from 50 local residents, the Wanneroo Road Board (which eventually became Wanneroo City Council) successfully applied for a 20-hectare (49-acre) reserve for camping and a health resort.
By the 1920s, the area was well used by locals who knew the area as “Burns Beach” after a farmer who ran sheep in the area.
For many years it was accessible only by track or boat and functioned as a small coastal village, and tourism and fishing were the main occupations. After the Second World War, it was connected by road to Wanneroo Road.
Burns Beach has managed to maintain much of its original character even with its loss of isolation, and the original caravan park is still in operation. . A community centre and school is expected to be built as part of the new development.
The nearest primary schools are at Beaumaris (Ocean Reef), Currambine and Kinross. Burns Beach falls within the Ocean Reef Senior High School and Clarkson Community High School catchment areas.
Burns Beach is served by the 470 and 471 Transperth bus routes from Joondalup operated by Path Transit.
